Polish Huntington’s Disease Association Conference

The 25th National Convention and Conference of the Polish Huntington’s Disease Association took place in Warsaw on May 18 – 19, 2019 to discuss medical care for Huntington’s disease patients, the latest treatment methods, and new scientific developments in the field of genetics, neurology, diagnostics, management, nutrition, rehabilitation, and patient care. The entire two days were filled with presentations by renowned specialists, including W. Libionka, D. Zielonka, M. Stomal-Słowińska and dr Alzbeta Muehlbaec-Simkowic from Germany. TriVita Center for Advanced Rehabilitation and Care, a certified center for HD patient rehabilitation, was represented by Ms. Dorota Łabuda, Managing Director, who presented our experience in HD patient care. Keeping in mind May is the Huntington Disease Patient Month, Ms. Łabuda invited all HD patients to visit the TriVita Center in Porąbka and take advantage of our special rehabilitation program to be held on June 17 – 30, 2019.
